Valley Regional Occupational Program (VROP) in partnership with Sanger, Reedley, Selma and Dinuba Adult Schools is offering career training opportunities for adults over the age of 18.


Auto Service & Maintenance

This course introduces students to the servicing and maintenance of the automobile. Students will learn by performing maintenance tasks on engines, brakes, suspension, electrical, fuel systems and more.  

Students will also be expected to demonstrate safety in an automotive shop environment. Automotive industry standards (NATEF) and ASE certifications will be emphasized. Students who successfully complete this program will be prepared for entry level positions in the automotive service industry.

Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)

As a CNA you will provide basic care to patients, as well as assist them in daily activities they might have trouble with on their own, such as bathing. Because of the personal nature of the job, CNAs must be compassionate and enjoy helping others. In a nursing or long term care facility, a CNA is often the patient's main caregiver.

The National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) is recognized by the industry as the training, assessment, certification and career development standard for the construction, maintenance and pipeline industries. Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

The Emergency Medical technicia (EMT) Course prepares the EMT student to provide pre-hospital assessment and care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical conditions and injuries.

The course will also prepare students for the National Registery EMT Certification Exam.

Fundamentals of Digital Photography

Improve your photography through exploring and understanding the exposure triangle, visual elements and composition guidelines. Learn to adjust the lighting and clone parts of a photo, work with layers, adjustments, etc in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Creative Cloud. Practice studio photography with using strobe lights for portrait photography. Learn how to shoot like a PRO in eight weeks.

This course is designed to develop an awareness of the various law enforcement occupations. The focus will be on the realities of enforcement and apprehension at the federal, state, and local levels, prosecution, courts, and the disposition of the people charged with the commission of crimes.

Security Guard Training

The "Bureau of Security and Investigative Services" Security Program provides students with the manadatory curriculumn necessary to become a licensed Security Gurard by the California Bureau of Security and Investigative Services. This course is designed around the requirements of CA Assembly Bill 2880 and its reformation of the Security Guard training procedures.

Welding (Intro)

This course provides students with a basic understanding of manufacturing processes and systems common to careers in welding and related industries. Representative topics include the introduction to interpretation and layout of welded and assembled-part prints.

This introductory instructional program prepares individuals to use both gas welding and any combination of arc welding processes.
