Sanger Adult School


Prepare yourself to become a "First Responder"

The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Course prepares the EMT student to provide pre-hospital assessment and care for patients of all ages with a variety of medical conditions and injuries.

The course will also prepare students for the National Registry EMT Certification Exam (Students are responsible for the cost of the test - $70).


Course Requirements & Expectations:

Classroom Time:

  • 230 hours
  • Emergency Care
  • Vital Sign
  • Immobilization
  • Bandaging
  • Stabilization and Transportation

The course is very hands-on:
Students are expected to be 100% involved and interactive with the Instructors and other students during the lecture.

Field Experience:
10 Patient Contacts practicum required during Ride Along with Dinuba FD

EMT Polo is included in the cost of the course
